2/1/08 - Band logo for my "one man band" project HellBound Zombie Apocalypse is fnished! The artwork was created by my friend and metal brother Rahul. Check out the Interview with Rahul. His art influences spawn from Death Metal, Brutal Death Metal, Old School Death Metal, Thrash Metal, and some Black Metal. 11/2/07 - Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka succumbed to head injuries sustained after a bad van accident while on tour in Russia. He was 23. One of the youngest and most promising drummers in the genre, together with Decapitated he has consistently released albums both crushing and invigorating in their musicianship. Extremely talented – he has been involved in other side projects: Dies Irae, Panzer X. He will be missed and can not be replaced. Our condolences to his family and the other Decapitated members. |

7/7/07 - Origin update: Jeremy Turner has rejoined Origin and will be writing and recording on the next Origin cd. We are excited to be jamming with one of the genre's most respected players and are happy that he is back in the band.
The lineup for this cd will be:
James Lee: vocals
Mike Flores: bass
John Longstreth: percussion
Jeremy Turner: guitar
Paul Ryan: guitar
(the same as the "Informis Infinitis Inhumanitis" disc)

2/12/07 - The Faceless has confirmed their new tour drummer, Marco Pitruzzella, former drummer of Braindrill. Check out Marco on Sickdrummer.com Here. In the future Marco might step in as tour drummer for bands; Necrophagist, Cephalic Carnage, and Animosity. Marco is stepping in to tour with the faceless temporarily replacing Nick Pierce, Marco added these words, "We'll see what happens, I am excited to play with some of the best young talented progressive death metal musicians on the map." 2/9/07 - Lamb of God has been confirmed to be playing on Late Night With Conan O’Brien Saturday, February 10th, at 12:35pm. The performance will mark the bands first ever appearance on network television.
2/6/07 - Bad news for Children of Bodom. "One week ago Alexi had the worst luck. He tripped at a bowling alley and his shoulder was hurt. Something is broken but it's not serious like the accident two years ago. He has to be careful 'cos the shoulder will be sensitive for a while. 6 weeks of no guitar playing - doctor's orders. This means all the activities planned to happen within the next 5 weeks have to be canceled. We can have a break from rehearsals but what breaks our hearts is that we are not able to perform in Desert Rock (Dubai, U.A.E.) in March 2007. That festival was something we were looking forward to but it just can't happen. There's nothing we can do about this!"

2/1/07 - Suffocation appear in commercial for the History Channel. Suffocation drummer Mike Smith comments on the commercial: It was a great first time experience working with the TV industry, we hope it won't be our last. Our fans who have seen the promo commercial have stated how highly they regard and respect A&E and The History Channel for being the first to recognize Suffocation and the underground metal genre known as Death Metal. The History Channel has definitely gained the support and attention of the underground community.
1/1/07 - The Faceless has lost their current drummer Nick Pierce. He is leaving to try out for The Black Dahlia Murder. One possible replacement for Nick is Chase Brickenden, drummer of Crushing Skulls. Chase happens to be one of the most sought after drummers in the Southern California area. This blew my mind when I heard the news! I know Chase because he used to live in Grants Pass, OR, 30 miles from where I live. And to add to that The Faceless is one of my favorite bands aside from Necrophagist. Chase has only one month to learn eight songs from the album Akeldama, 2006 release.
