Q. Hails brother Raul, did you have a good new years?

A. Hey man, yes I did have a good new years, drinking some beers with my father and brother.

Q. When did you start creating metal artwork/logos for metal bands?

A. Well I started back when I was 14 yrs old or so ... I started by doing metal bands during class back in high school. I remember that the first logos I did were Morbid Angel, Vader, Grave, Broken Hope, Immolation, Cannibal Corpse, etc. But my first logo for a local band was when I was 20 and it was for a band named "Apostacy" ... then they changed their name to "Letum" and they are still around and kicking some major local ass!

Q. How many bands have you done artwork/logos for to date?

A. I can’t recall but I think it’s between 20 and 30. Some successful and some not, hahaha.

Q. What inspires you most during the creative process of coming up with new artwork for bands?

A. Well again in high school all those logos I had drawn on my school notebooks, I was like "someday I'll make a logo for bands" and well the rest writes itself.

Q. What are your plans for 2008?

A. My plans are to start going to welding classes because I fucking love welding and well continue drawing as much as possible cause as you can tell it’s my passion.

Q. You are such a great artist, you know I want you to do logos for VMV for the site and for t-shirts; you think you’ll be down with that?

A. Already done with that, hope you like it man, and Ill be fucking honored to have a shirt!

Q. Anything else you want to say before we end the interview?

A. Just wanted to thank you for giving me the opportunity to express myself and to make me remember good memories with all this questions.
